Salary: Up to 41,000 per annum + Bonus

The Role:

As a Technical Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, carrying out installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting across the UK. You will work closely with internal sales and engineering teams, ensuring seamless customer experiences while maximizing product efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and commissioning of specialist systems at customer sites
  • Performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on demand
  • Training customers on equipment operation and best practices
  • Conducting on-site tests and supporting application engineering
  • Collaborating with sales teams to identify new opportunities and upsell service contracts
  • Assisting in exhibitions, open houses, and customer demonstrations

What We Are Looking For:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Five or more years of hands-on experience in a Field Service or Technical Support role
  • Strong Electrical and Hydraulic system knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic schematics
  • Familiarity with industrial automation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
