Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for aviation? Shorterm Group are looking for a Technical Liaison Engineer to join our Clients Manchester base maintenance operation. What You Will Do:
As a Technical Liaison Engineer, your key responsibilities include:
Structural Analysis - Perform structural analysis to support aircraft repairs, both major and minor.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited university preferred).
Industry Experience: Aviation-related background or mechanical engineering experience preferred.
Aircraft Repair Expertise: Experience in airline support, structural repairs, MRO, liaison, or MRB engineering is highly desired.
Key Skills & Abilities
Expertise in structural analysis and aircraft repair substantiation.
Experience in preparing structural damage reports for OEMs and STC holders.
Strong understanding of FARs and related regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work directly with customers to develop solutions and manage expectations.
Work Environment
Location: Manchester, UK.
Provide timely engineering support for line and check aircraft.
Develop, review, and implement repair schemes, including sketches and calculations.
Work closely with customers throughout the repair and modification process.
