Our client, a highly reputable architectural practice, are seeking a talented Associate Architect to join their expanding team to work on a highly prestigious project within their Manchester Studio.

The successful Senior Architect will evidence keen attention to detail and high-quality examples of work. Our client offer a rewarding and supportive environment for both personal and professional development. The successful Senior Architect should be someone who is well-organised and has experience delivering work packages on site, with excellent technical and construction knowledge. As the project is into the construction stage you will use your experience to prioritise hands on technical delivery and also look to support and to provide assistance to other team members. Communication is a key factor for the successful Senior Architect as you will represent the organization in a leadership role to primary clients, key public officials, and sub consultants.

Collaboration is central to their culture, providing opportunities to work on some of the finest buildings; from meticulous heritage and conservation schemes to bold contemporary design.

Associate Architect Position Remuneration

  • Competitive salary £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Associate Architect Position Overview

  • Delivery of architectural projects through all work / RIBA stages
  • Work on a highly prestigious project in Manchester City Centre
  • Work on an exciting range of conservation / historic buildings
  • Site visits
  • Help with and coordinate the design and production of comprehensive design information
  • Prepare and produce plans and documents for statutory approvals
  • Lead team / design team meetings
  • Take leadership of a project

Associate Architect Position Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years post qualification experience
  • Experience in project delivery and management
  • Have excellent design, technical and conservation skills and experience?
  • Have a strong understanding of the UK Building and Planning regulations?
  • Proven experience working on all RIBA stages?
  • Demonstrate good client-facing communication skills?
  • Proficiency in BIM/ Revit an advantage
  • Be well organised, proactive and enthusiastic approach to work and projects?
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written?
  • Leadership experience managing a small to medium sized team
  • Experience of taking responsibility for the financial success of projects, and strong commercial awareness?
