Associate Architect Job in Manchester, Greater Manchester

Associate Architect job in Manchester now available, with an AJ100 practice with 4 offices across the Northeast and West. You will be a key player in the performance and development of this office, delivering a portfolio of residential projects across the Northwest. Offering up to 55,000, Hybrid/Flexible working and 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays.

My client has now opened their newest office in Manchester focusing on developer-led residential projects, they have been established for 40 years so have a strong foundation to support this recent growth. During this time they have built a credible reputation through the projects they have delivered across the UK.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of projects, providing design and technical leadership as well as excellent client care
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop design and technical excellence
  • Conduct Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and implement appropriate actions and learning
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the practice by developing and executing business goals
  • Raise the profile of the business externally and generate profitable leads through effective networking
  • Maintain high standards of design, technical, and project management
  • Manage resources to ensure projects meet agreed fees and customer demands
  • Establish and maintain good commercial relationships with clients and contractors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet customer expectations and business performance goals.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years post-qualification UK experience
  • Candidate must hold ARB registration
  • Team management experience with a passion for developing others.
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining successful client relationships.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex or outstanding architectural projects.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
