Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Project Manager to join our team. This is a key role within our practice, requiring someone with a strong background in both design and project management.

Interior Design Project Manager - The Role:

Due to continued success and growth throughout the years, an exciting position has become available for a full-time, Interior Designer based in Manchester to join our team of designers.

Main responsibilities and duties:

Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for luxury interior design projects, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
Develop and manage project costings, ensuring accuracy and keeping within set budgets.
Oversee on-site works, managing tradespeople and contractors to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.
Collaborate closely with designers to ensure the design vision is executed flawlessly.
Coordinate project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met while resolving any installation challenges that may arise.
Ensure all materials, furnishings, and fittings are procured on time and meet quality expectations.
Act as the main point of contact between contractors, and design teams, ensuring clear communication throughout the project.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a strong focus on both detail and the broader project scope.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp to collaborate with design teams on detailed drawings and visualisations.

Interior Design Project Manager - Candidate Specification:

The ideal candidate will be able to manage project budgets, oversee the execution of works on-site, and ensure smooth project delivery, from initial concept to completion.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in both interior design and project management within the luxury sector.
Excellent ability to manage budgets, costings, and overall project finances.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently.
A solid understanding of construction processes and site management.
Ability to foresee and overcome challenges during installations, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Experience in managing and liaising with tradespeople, contractors, and suppliers.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and project management software.
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for high-quality design and craftsmanship.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in interior design and construction.

Qualifications:

A degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Project management qualifications or significant project management experience within interior design.
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in high-end/luxury design projects.
