Mid-Weight / Senior Interior Designer


Location: Manchester
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (Dependent Upon Experience)

An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced and talented Interior Designer to join an award-winning interior design studio in their Central Manchester offices. Our clients are renowned for their innovative approach and creative excellence and are looking for an Interior Designer who is passionate about high quality design. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile Commercial and Hospitality projects, representing the studios signature style and creativity, offering genuine career development with a great company culture and remuneration package.



This opportunity would be ideal for an experienced Interior Designer or Senior Interior Designer with a strong background in the commercial and hospitality sectors, who is confident using AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino, SketchUp, VRay, and the Adobe Suite.



Package:

  • £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (Dependent Upon Experience)

Office:

  • Office house: 9:00am 6:00pm
  • Full time in office


Duties:

  1. Lead and manage key projects across the commercial and hospitality sectors, ensuring they align with the studios standards.
  2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers, conducting regular site visits and attending design team meetings (DTMs).
  3. Develop and present innovative design concepts, visuals, and technical drawings to clients.
  4. Research and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings to align with project requirements and budgets.
  5. Oversee projects from initial concept development through to on-site construction and final completion.
  6. Mentor junior team members, contributing to their growth and development.


Requirements:

  1. Degree Qualified in Interior Design or similar field
  2. A minimum of 4 years of experience across all project stages, with proven expertise in project delivery
  3. Extensive knowledge of FF&E, materials, and finishes, with a strong supplier network
  4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino, SketchUp, VRAY, and Adobe Suite
  5. Experience managing budgets, project programmes, and working in fast-paced environments
  6. Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team
