Sourced Recruitment Group are currently seeking two experiencedDesign Managerson behalf of a two seperate well-established construction companies known for delivering high-quality projects across teh high rise residential markets with projects upto 20 stories. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in construction design management to join companies with a strong a reputation for excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Car Allowance + Package/Bonus
Location: Northwest
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Benefits: Pension, 25 Days Holiday + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Planning Conditions.
  • Prepare and manage design status reports and ensure the internal drawing management process aligns with RIBA standards.
  • Collate and organise technical information from architects, structural/civil engineers, and M&E designers.
  • Provide technical advice on building developments, including regulatory requirements and user needs.
  • Coordinate design team meetings and ensure timely delivery of high-quality design information.
  • Oversee preparation of construction specifications and plans for statutory approvals.
  • Monitor designs for Health and Safety, contributing to risk assessments.
  • Ensure clear coordination between design teams, clients, and project delivery teams.
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience as a Design Manager in the construction industry is essential.
  • Proven track record with main contractors.
  • Strong IT skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure attention to detail.
