Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester.

A long standing and professional Asbestos Consultancy who have a strong presence in the North West, are now seeking to take on a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. This role would suit someone who has experience working in a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, working hands on across Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Domestic, Construction and Educational sites, ensuring to carry out the full range of surveying services in line with HSG 264 guidelines. Our client prides themselves on providing excellent staff development and can offer opportunities to gain further industry experience, as well as cross training into other aspects of asbestos management.

Candidates will have good access to the North West and surrounding areas: Oldham, Rochdale, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, Bolton, Bury, St Helens, Liverpool, Wigan, Warrington, Chester, Crewe, Macclesfield, Buxton, Chesterfield, Stockport, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Wakefield.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 is essential to the role.
" Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy would be beneficial to the role.
" In-depth knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" IT literate, able to use TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Prioritising workload in line with company and client needs.

Attending a mixed portfolio of sites carrying out surveying services including but not limited to:
" Management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Sampling of suspected ACMs.
" Safely bagging and correctly labelling ACM samples.
" Undertaking re-inspection surveys.
" Carrying out work in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems, producing detailed & site-specific reports.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice.
