We are working with a nationally recognised UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who are currently recruiting in the North West region. They are in the market for a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor. You will be responsible for carrying out the full range of surveying duties on longstanding Commercial, Residential and Local Authority sites. For the successful candidate, our client can offer a flexible work week, generous holiday allowance, company pension scheme and opportunities for career progression and training into other environmental sectors.
Candidates will have good access to the North West and the surrounding areas: Oldham, Rochdale, Bury, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, Bolton, Wigan, St Helens, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Warrington, Stockport, Macclesfield, Buxton, Cheshire, Huddersfield, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Sheffield, Chesterfield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
" Will have experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of HSG 264 guidelines.
" Will be flexible and adaptable in line with client needs.
" Will have a good work ethic.
The Role:
" Working on longstanding Commercial, Residential and Local Authority sites.
" Carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys.
" Ensuring to conduct re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Undertaking work in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Using TEAMS / TRACKER systems to produce detailed, bespoke reports.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support.
