Our client is an industry leading provider of Asbestos Management services, working across the UK to carry out high quality asbestos services. They are now seeking to take on a qualified and hard-working Asbestos Surveyor to work on Healthcare, Local Authority, Industrial, and Commercial sites. You will be carrying out the full range of surveying services in line with HSG 264 guidelines, ensuring work is carried out in line with agreed time schedules. For the successful candidate, our client can offer further training and development into further Pcert qualifications, generous holiday allowance and company pension scheme.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Oldham, Rochdale, Blackburn, Bury, Burnley, Preston, Blackpool, Southport, Bolton, St Helens, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Warrington, Macclesfield, Buxton, Chester, Crewe, Huddersfield, Bradford, Keighley, Leeds, Wakefield.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent is essential to the role.
" Will have experience working hands on as a surveyor for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Company.
" Well versed in HSG 264 guidelines.
" Familiar using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Excellent communication and time management skill.
The Role:
" Working on a mixed portfolio of sites to carry out management, refurbishment, demolition, and re-inspection surveys.
" Undertaking sampling of ACMs on site.
" Safely bagging and correctly labelling ACMs samples prior to sending for analysis.
" Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Creating reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
