Job Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and highly organised Administrator to support the Credit Control team in various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the preparation of pre-litigation reports for review by the Head of Credit Control, verifying and cross-checking details against multiple platforms and data sources, and ensuring the accuracy of all related information. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and verify financial data, client details, arrears and remaining contractual liabilities to assist in the pre-litigation process.
  • Work closely with the Credit Control team to compile and organise information necessary for potential litigation.
  • Maintain a system for tracking all pre-litigation cases, providing timely updates to relevant parties.
  • Cross-check payment histories, account balances, and credit terms to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate discrepancies in client data and resolve issues in collaboration with the credit control team.
  • Manage and update databases to reflect the latest credit control activities and pre-litigation reports.
  • Assist in preparing monthly or quarterly reports on outstanding debts, pre-litigation statuses, and other relevant credit control metrics.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in administrative tasks and data verification.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with large volumes of data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.), and other data management tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
