Role Title: Head of CBS (Sales to Cash)

Duration: 12 months

Rate/Salary: £900-1200 per day Inside IR35

Location: Manchester/Home based (2/3 days in the Manchester office per week, plus home working)

The Role:

  • Drive standardisation and consistency in billing, collections, cash application, reporting, bank reconciliations and Treasury back-office, using your control-focused mindset and strong analytical and organisational skills to deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales-to-cash process, providing strategic direction and operational leadership for all S2C initiatives. You'll define and execute best practice processes across all locations, staying up to date with industry standards and implementing those that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage key metrics to ensure compliance with regulations or service level agreements, KPIs, and benchmarks against industry leaders, analysing collection processes and establishing best practices for all receivable types.
  • Interact with senior financial leaders and Exec regarding matters related to working capital, participate as a member of the leadership team, and work with the team to establish strategies and objectives for the organization.
  • You'll provide overall leadership for c.60 colleagues for planning, staffing, goal setting, budgeting, supporting system initiatives, and implementing new processes and policies, cultivating an environment that encourages maximum productivity, professional development, open communication, and teamwork.

Experience Required:

  • Must have experience leading large teams of 30-50+
  • Leading a team through an ERP implementation (SAP desirable)
  • Must have led a department of Auditor Cash and been involved in a ERP Implementation (Oracle/SAP)
  • A finance background though not necessarily an accounting qualification
