Accounts Payable Administrator

Salary: Up to£28,000 + Benefits (Hybrid Working, Pension, On-Site Parking)

Sellick Partnership has been engaged to recruit an Accounts Payable Administrator for a well-established and growing IT business based in South Manchester. The company has gone through a sustained period of growth in recent times and as a result the finance team has expanded resulting in a new opening.

This Accounts Payable Administrator opportunity would be perfect for someone who is looking for a role within a busy finance department. This Role would be reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, with training, mentoring and support on offer, with the opportunity to gain exposure to other areas of finance and progress through the business.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Administrator include:

  • Matching purchase orders to purchase invoices
  • Ensure supplier statement reconciliations are performed
  • Liaising with suppliers to resolve any queries
  • Setting up supplier payments to aligned credit terms
  • Forecasting supplier statements
  • Build strong relationships both internally and externally
  • Supporting the wider finance team with any ad-hoc processes as required

The ideal Accounts Payable Administrator candidate will have;

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience (2+ years ideally)
  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive and positive attitude
