Our client, a leader in the UK equipment hire & management sector, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join their dynamic Finance Shared Service department for a 6 minth contract

As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and ensuring smooth operations within the Finance Shared Service department. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include allocating monies to the Sales Ledger, liaising with customers, operating the PDQ machine for purchase card payments, reviewing unallocated payments, handling mail, and assisting with credit note requests. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will be key in this role.

  • Allocation of monies to the Sales Ledger
  • Ensuring appropriate invoices and credit notes are matched to prevent customer disputes
  • Liaison with customers for receipts without remittance advices
  • Operation of the PDQ machine for purchase card payments
  • Review of unallocated payments and releasing all daily postings
  • Handling of internal and external mail and assisting the Credit Note Request function

The ideal Accounts Receivable Associate will bring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a working knowledge of Excel and Word. You should have good keying skills and speed, experience in a fast-paced environment, numeracy skills, experience with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work on your own initiative.
