NC Associates are working in partnership with a fast paced and rapidly expanding organisation based in Trafford Park who is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to help assist the Finance Manager and existing Purchase Ledger team in supporting the smooth running of the Purchase Ledger function. The business has grown considerably over the past few years and has massive expansion plans so with this they require an extremely hands on Purchase Ledger Clerk who isnt afraid of getting stuck in, new processes and systems are being implemented so they require a self sufficient Purchase Clerk to help with the on-boarding of the new systems. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Handle and process 100-150 multi-entity purchase invoices daily using data capture software.
  • Implementation of new PO system
  • Regularly maintain and update supplier accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Oversee the accounts email inbox, resolving purchase ledger queries across various entities.
  • Facilitate weekly and fortnightly payment runs by ensuring precise invoice processing.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliation's.
  • Address and resolve supplier queries promptly.
  • Support payment processes and bank reconciliation's as required.
  • Maintain and improve data capture software, proposing enhancements.
  • Undertake additional ad hoc duties as needed.

Essential Experience Required

  • To be successful in your application for this role you MUST have the following experience
  • Previous experience of working in a similar position as a Purchase Ledger Clerk (min 2 years experience)
  • Experience of working within a multi site or group business 
  • Experience of inter-company invoicing would be a huge advantage 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can do attitude and someone who isnt afraid of getting involved in all areas to support the team
  • Team player with a confident personality
