Michael Page are recruiting for a permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of a fantastic organisation who are going through an excited period of growth. They are looking for a diligent Purchase Ledger Clerk to come on-board and join their expanding finance team.

Description

The key responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

  • Reconciliation of supplier statements

  • Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details

  • Process invoices, credit notes, and refunds

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

  • Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

  • Assist in month-end reporting procedures

  • Support the finance department in daily duties

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:

  • Prior experience in a purchase ledger or similar role (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong experience using Accounting Software and proficient in MS Excel.
  • Demonstrable experience in bookkeeping and accounting procedures - desirable.
  • A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
