Description
The key responsibilities of a Purchase Ledger Clerk will include:

Reconciliation of supplier statements

Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details

Process invoices, credit notes, and refunds
-
Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
-
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
-
Assist in month-end reporting procedures
-
Support the finance department in daily duties
-
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- Prior experience in a purchase ledger or similar role (desirable but not essential).
- Strong experience using Accounting Software and proficient in MS Excel.
- Demonstrable experience in bookkeeping and accounting procedures - desirable.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
