You will be the kind of person who wants to make a difference within your day-to-day work, but of course there are a few other requirements:
- Degree in a technical or scientific field, with knowledge of IT systems.
- Experience in NHS organisations (pathology, pharmacy, procurement) and managing IT systems for data management.
- Must have laboratory experience.
- Proven skills in change management, project management, and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and ability to build relationships.
- Flexibility to work independently and in teams, with awareness of laboratory safety.
- Full UK/EU driving license and access to a vehicle.
In this role you will be working across Manchester on a field based / hybrid basis, providing specialist product support. You will also be responsible for:
- Manage the implementation of the Optimall Inventory system across multiple sites, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to users, conducting gap analyses, and developing improvement plans.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Analyse data to optimize stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and responsiveness to issues.
- Oversee compliance with laboratory safety standards and ensure effective system usage.
- Support change management efforts to facilitate system adoption and usage improvements.
