My client is a well known Manufacturer with multi site operations around the UK.
They have 2x opportunities to join their team on a permanent basis, based at their site on Trafford Park. You will work on their later shifts of 16:30-1:30am mon - thurs and 13:30 - 19:30 on a Friday. Initially for 3 months, you will train on the day shift with working hours of 07:30 - 16:30 mon - thurs with a 13:30 finish on a Friday, before moving over to the later shifts.
Role Responsibilities:
- Setting, Minding and Maintenance Sheet Metal Machinery
- Manufacturing Sheet Metal Duct Fittings and Spirally Wound Tube
- Quality Checking Manufactured Goods and reporting any defects to management
- Maintain Stock Levels and recording use of raw materials and goods produced
- Housekeeping in the Production and Warehouse areas for health and safety
- Operating FLT Counterbalance to store goods, pick materials and load/unload vehicles
Skills/Experience:
- Candidates need to be physically fit
- Machine Operating experience
- FLT Counterbalance Licence or previous licence and operating experience
