Page Personnel are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant on behalf of a well established and highly reputable business based in Trafford Park.

This role will play a key part in the accounts payable process, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues and ensuring all invoices are processed & queries resolved in a timely manner.

Description

Accounts Payable Assistant duties include:

  • Processing all purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of purchase invoices
  • Resolving purchase invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements on an ongoing basis
  • Month end closing of Purchase Ledger including control account reconciliation
  • Monthly & Weekly supplier payment runs
  • Maintaining supplier relationships
  • Ad hoc finance / AP tasks as required

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in a similar role (AP, PL, PTP)
  • Shared service centre experience would be desirable (not essential)
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system would be desirable
  • Have good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Have a high level of attention to detail
