Your new firmThis is an exciting opportunity for you to join a well renowned, top 20 firm based in greater Manchester with offices covering the whole of the UK. Due to their years of experience and range of partners, they specialise in services including accounts, audit, corporate finance, tax and more. This is the perfect opportunity to develop your current accounts knowledge and develop within a firm offering great training and development, working with a mixed bag of clients, from start-ups to OMBs to SMEs with turnovers in excess of £25 million. This bookkeeping job has arisen due to continuous internal growth within the firm.Your new roleYour new role will see you working day to day on Bookkeeping duties, from basic bookkeeping to supporting the accounts team. Day to day you will be helping prepare VAT returns, supporting the payroll team, completing self-assessment tax returns and confirmation statements. You will also be helping on a client basis as well, from CIS clients, to bookkeeping for clients and helping them with any problem solving and supporting them daily to achieve their best. It is a great opportunity to enter an exciting, growing firm.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this job, you will need previous practice experience, at least 2 years experience in practice is required; you will need to be part qualified in your ACCA qualification. Experience in accounting software is required, Xero and IRIS are needed, any other software's will be considered. Other personal attributes will be required, this consists of being confident and having good interpersonal skills to maintain client relationships.
