We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bricklayer to join our construction team. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures. Your precision, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently are crucial for the successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to determine layout and specifications.

Measure and cut bricks, blocks, or other materials to size using hand or power tools.

Mix mortar or other adhesives and apply them to bricks, blocks, or other materials.

Lay bricks or blocks in courses, ensuring they are level, plumb, and aligned according to specifications.

Use tools such as trowels, levels, and jointers to spread mortar and finish surfaces.

Cut or shape bricks, blocks, or other materials to fit around obstacles or in specific patterns.

Repair, replace, or restore damaged brickwork or masonry.

Clean and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

Collaborate with other construction team members, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bricklayer or similar role in the construction industry.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings.

Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in workmanship.

Effective communication skills.

IELTS or Equivalent for international Candidates
