Assessment & Progression Administrator
£17.25 per hour

Hybrid (3 days on campus)

Role Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to provide comprehensive pre- and post-exam support to students and academic staff. This role is essential in managing the assessment and progression process, requiring exceptional administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound enquiries via phone, face-to-face interactions, and email communication, ensuring all responses meet the set service level agreements.
  • Manage multiple shared inboxes, triaging and responding to emails, and creating correspondence for students and academic staff.
  • Use Excel to manage and manipulate data, alongside specialist systems, including databases, university systems, and Office365, on a daily basis.
  • Train and manage a team of three staff members, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle examination processing tasks.
  • Lead the processing of examinations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with university guidelines.
  • Utilise Campus Solutions and PowerBI for uploading exam marks and running exam grids, ensuring the integrity of examination data.
  • Demonstrate high-level problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Report directly to the Assessment and Progression Officer, contributing to the smooth operation of the assessment and progression function.


Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a university environment, though applications from individuals with strong administrative backgrounds are also welcome. Proficiency in Campus Solutions and PowerBI is essential for this role.
