We are excited to present an opportunity for a Building Manager to join a well-respected managing agent that continues to grow and secure prestigious new instructions. They are now seeking a Building Manager to oversee a premium, commercial asset in Manchester City Centre. The building is currently undergoing various project work, which includes an upgrade to the front of house area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the property, ensuring smooth operations and prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Manage the service charge budget, ensuring financial efficiency and transparency.
  • Ensure full statutory compliance and proactively address any health & safety matters.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, responding to queries efficiently and collaborating on pop-up events and initiatives.
  • Oversee hard and soft service contracts, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Manage fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Work with internal and external teams to enhance the building's energy efficiency and sustainability performance.

Who We're Looking For:

This role is ideal for an experienced Assistant Building Manager seeking their first step into a Building Manager position, with a company that offers additional training and career progression. Likewise, if you are already working as a Building Manager and looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you!

Given the nature of this role, strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. You will also have previous experience working within the commercial property management sector and have existing experience with service charge budgets and health & safety,
