A specialist Building Physics team in Manchester are seeking a specialist Building Physics Consultant to join them on a range of projects. You'll be using Integrated Environmental Solutions and focussing on building performance analysis to contribute to a range of commercial, industrial, manufacturing, logistic, retail and residential projects.

You'll be carrying out building performance analysis in relation to sustainability, energy efficiency and thermal comfort and supporting teams to achieve building certifications and energy efficient targets. You'll also be using IES VE software to assess environmental impacts and model building physics, contributing to business development and liaising with clients.

This Building Physics Consultant role offers:

Requirements to be considered for this Building Physics Consultant role include:

  • Experience using Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES VE) building simulation software.
  • Have demonstratable building physics experience.
  • A degree in building physics, environmental engineering or a similar relevant subject.
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations, energy codes and planning requirements.
  • (Ideally) IES Accreditation and/or OCDEA/LCC/LCEA qualifications.
  • Live in or committable to Manchester.
