Estimator

Our Role

As an Estimator, you will work as part of the bid team in the preparation of pricing and the management of costing. This role will see you take control of all precontract costs of the project. You will deliver desired estimates utilising high standards of commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone to:

Assist in the preparation of pricing inquiries as part of the bid process and review subsequent quotations

Obtain cost estimates for the entire project /proposal, including the costs of labour, equipment materials, subcontracts, overhead, insurance, mark up and any other costs that may affect the project

Price and monitor project cost estimates, taking delivery of contract documentation and review for completeness

You will produce and review estimates and contractual risk documentation and support in the preparation of documentation for submission to the client

Manage and track any changes and variations throughout the tender process

Obtain the best value sub-contract services for tenders and maintain a subcontractor approved list

Perform Post Audit Reviews of Bids lost and actual performance of awarded projects. Review all estimating systems on an on-going basis to ensure that efficiency of the department is maximized

Assist with any other ad hoc tenders and pricing
