Role Overview:We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated graduate to join our team as a Trainee Insolvency Consultant. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in insolvency, restructuring, and financial consulting. With full training provided, you will gain hands-on experience in a challenging yet rewarding environment, working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing a portfolio of insolvency cases, including liquidations, administrations, and individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs).
- Conduct initial investigations and analyze financial data to determine the best course of action for clients.
- Prepare statutory reports, correspondence, and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Attend client meetings to discuss their financial situation and explore possible solutions.
- Work closely with creditors, solicitors, and other stakeholders to ensure cases progress efficiently.
- Stay updated with insolvency legislation and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: A recent graduate with a degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related discipline (minimum 2:1 preferred).
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attitude: A proactive and eager learner with a genuine interest in insolvency and restructuring.
- Attributes: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
