Job Title: MI Project Support

Locations: Haywards Heath, Manchester or Whitstable

Role Purpose:

Supporting the Head of MI and Analytics and the MI Project Manager, deliver with the help a team of Developers, larger Business project as well as coordinating the MI work stack, which contains smaller work items.

The responsibilities of the role include but not restricted to:

  • Contributing to project and resource planning for the MI team. To be able to plan short term sprints, highlighting issues and blockers, whilst working on longer term plans for work and projects coming down the line
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation
  • Operating and housekeeping the teams workflow tools, including support of the development team managers to ensure robust detail is captured
  • Ownership of the teams email inbox
  • Co-ordinating MI project work, monitoring project activities and evaluating overall project deliverables

Adhere to FSA, TCF , GDPR Regulations, and the completion of Mandatory E-Learning

Responsibilities

The role holder will be responsible for the support of projects and MI deliverables, making sure deadlines and requirements are fully understood by all parties. Ensuring optimum planning of workloads to reduce single points of failure. To support MI management team in producing the agreed deliverables.

Acting as a key point of contact for business area’s;

  • Continuously assessing working methods and processes; making recommendations for improvements in order to deliver client satisfaction and project deliverables
  • Planning workload sprints
  • Maintaining KPIs and project milestones; communicating these clearly to our clients;
  • Forming strong relationships with clients and internal teams;
  • Ensuring SLAs are met, liaising with team members to ensure agreed plan is met, and flagging issues as early as possible

Essential Skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Organised, methodical, able to deliver to agreed deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Data analysis and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of work management tools (not necessarily DevOps)
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical detail into simple language that non-technical people can understand
  • Able to operate in a fast-changing market and environment, often tackling issues without clear precedents
  • Confident in own judgement and decision-making
