Oakleaf Partnership are supporting a large well-established business in their search for an experienced Reward Business Partner. The role will join and support an established team and work closely with the wider HR function to develop and implement strategies. You will act as a trusted business partner and deliver advice on a broad range of total reward activities and business projects. This is a permanent role that is truly hybrid. There is an expectation to be in the Manchester or Leeds office twice a month with additional ad-hoc travel.
What is the role?
As a Reward Business Partner, you will support and advise on the development and implementation of reward strategy and activities that align with the objectives of a particular business division. You will work closely with the Senior Reward Partner, People Director and other senior stakeholders to drive competitive pay, benefits and incentive programs that attract, retain and engage top talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Reward Business Partner to deliver effective reward strategies across diverse teams.
- Develop and implement reward initiatives, including pay structures, benefits, and incentive schemes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance reward frameworks and business-wide programs.
- Ensure reward practices align with industry best practices and governance standards.
- Own and oversee key reward cycles, including annual salary reviews, bonus schemes, job evaluations, and pay governance.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver tailored reward solutions that drive business success.
Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a reward partnering role, demonstrating a strong track record in developing and implementing effective reward solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in total reward, including pay structures, incentives, and benefits, along with exceptional numerical and analytical skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience with job evaluation methodologies, such as Korn Ferry Hay Group or Willis Towers Watson, is highly desirable. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate across all levels of an organisation. A broad understanding of HR and employee relations is beneficial, and while a CIPD qualification (or equivalent) is desirable, it is not mandatory.
