We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join an energetic team in the public sector. The ideal candidate will have a knack for technology and a passion for developing effective business strategies. Experience in housing / property would be very beneficial.

Description

  • Formulate and implement business strategies to improve organisational efficiency
  • Analyse business processes and recommend improvements
  • Coordinate with technology department to optimise business operations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and propose solutions
  • Prepare reports detailing business analysis findings
  • Lead team meetings and workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing
  • Ensure compliance with public sector regulations and standards
  • Engage with technical team to support the development of the solution.
  • Provide support to colleagues, sharing skills and knowledge.
  • Develop your skills through continued learning and development.
  • Triage of issues and responding to customer feedback to help inform priorities.
  • Carry out gap analysis to understand the 'As'As is'is' and 'To'To be'be' state.
  • Supporting with identifying processes for Business for improvements and produce process maps to document the business processes.
  • Translating user needs into user stories, managing the story through design and development and contributing to agile ceremonies.
  • Leading / mentoring other Business Analysts

Profile

A successful Senior Business Analyst should have:

  • Proven communication and influencing skills
  • Be able to evidence, with specific examples, being adept at managing challenging stakeholder relationships - Proactively and effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multimulti-disciplinary team that includes technical experts and business end users.
  • Experience in investigating, analysing, visualising, articulating, solving complex problems and concepts and making recommendations based on available information using Business Analysis Practice
  • Experience of balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
  • Experience of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of agile, working in a flexible, evolving environment that relies on high collaboration and iterative improvements.
  • Experience of varied Microsoft Applications, JIRAJIRA and Confluence (ideally)
  • Experience in capturing and managing user stories through to delivery (ideally)
