Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Support and Development: Assist the Paraplanning team in crafting accurate financial plans and suitability reports. Provide guidance on strengths and weaknesses, improving paraplanning processes and templates.
  • Strategic Implementation: Monitor workload, manage team workflow, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Provide updates to the board of directors and operations team, enhancing communication and working practices across the business.
  • Client-Focused Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis to meet client needs, covering areas such as Inheritance Tax Planning, Trusts, Bonds, and higher-risk investments like EIS/VCT/BPR.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer technical support to the Client Relationship Team, ensuring advice is implemented accurately and compliantly.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously refine research and suitability report processes and templates, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Financial Planning Expertise: A deep understanding of the financial planning process, with experience in a Paraplanning role.
  • Management Experience: Ideally, experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Professional Qualifications: Achieved at least Level 4 (CII Diploma in Financial Planning), with a preference for Chartered status or working towards it.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Intelligent Office, FE Analytics, Dynamic Planner, and The Exchange.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on detail and accuracy.

Working Hours:

A standard 37.5-hour week, from 9.00am to 5.30pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The hybrid working policy allows for three days in the office and two days working from home, depending on workloads and meetings.
