Facilities Duty Manager Role!

A Higher Education business in Manchester are looking to expand their Facilities team and are looking for a Assistant Duty Manager to join ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.

Pay rate - £17 - £20p/hour

Duties

 Manage the day-to-day/operational provision of soft facilities and comprehensive cleaning service to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with the Service Level Agreement.

 Ensure team members carry out all work at the appropriate times, planning a rota and work schedules in conjunction with the allocating tasks to cover all required duties.

 Plan and oversee non-standard cleaning activities and periodic maintenance activities, including thorough and specialist cleaning during holiday periods, to ensure all areas are clean and fresh for the new term and basic repairs and health and safety inspections to ensure all areas are safe and functional.

 Quality check the work carried out by team members by way of routine inspections and auditing, completing compliance check sheets and providing regular reports to the Facilities Manager to demonstrate KPIs are being achieved in line with the Service Level Agreements.

Proactively monitor and manage FM teams within the HR policies and procedures, ensuring meetings, interviews and invetigations are completed and actioned within the time-frames.

Ensure team members undertake regular checks of the buildings, in particular toilet areas, and that basic cleaning and stock replenishment is undertaken as required, in the absence of Domestic staff
