We have an exciting opportunity for a Building Manager to join a well-respected managing agent that continue to grow and win exciting new instructions. They are now recruiting for a Building Manager to manage a prominent, premium asset in Manchester City Centre. This impressive property is home to some of the worlds leading brands and sits at over 100,000sqft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the property, ensuring the site runs smoothly and any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently.
  • Production and management of the buildings service charge budget.
  • Ensuring all statutory compliance is up to date and any health & safety matters are dealt with immediately.
  • Engaging with your tenants on a regular basis, responding to their queries promptly and working with external teams on any pop-up events.
  • Management of all onsite service partners, both hard & soft services.
  • Management of any fit-out / refurbishment projects.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams with regard to the asset's energy & sustainability performance.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience managing a notable commercial buildings on behalf of a managing agent or property developer. As this role is heavily focused around customer service, you will be engaging and be comfortable liaising with tenants and senior stakeholders. In addition, if you hold an IOSH or NEBOSH and a membership to an industry accredited body, this will put you at an advantage.
