My client, a well respected regional main contractor, are looking to appoint a Building Services Manager to work on a high profile residential scheme in Manchester

The succesful candidate will take full responsibilityfor managing the installation and of all building services systems which will include but is not limited tomechanical, electrical, and HVAC. You will ensure that these systems meet the highest standards of quality and safety .

Duties include

  • Safety and compliance:Ensure that the building is compliant with health and safety regulations
  • Budgeting:Monitor expenses and control the site budget
  • Design and coordination:Advise design teams on service coordination and space allocation
  • Environmental protection:Help to reduce energy and water wastage
  • Client communication:Advise clients on how the building services will operate once complete
  • Reviewing installation plans and specifications
  • Testing and checking installations
  • Ensuring jobs meet building regulations

In order to be considered foer the role you must have a strong background in MEP, and have worked on installation projects ideally within commercial or residential sectors.
