The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Asset Management and Sustainability team for the post of a Facilities Caretaker and for the right person we offer a 35-hour week, competitive salary, excellent contributory pension scheme, and 25 days holiday increasing to 30 days.

Candidates

The postholder will provide a facilities management service to ensure Southway Homes' Offices, Community Building, General Needs Communal Blocks and Commercial units are secure, safe, clean and provide the best possible environment for residents, visitors and colleagues. They will work alongside building compliance, health & safety and housing management colleagues. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking weekly fire alarm tests, building inspections, water hygiene testing and carrying out minor repairs. You will also have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, be punctual, be a team player and have the initiative to solve problems. The postholder will hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
