Operations Manager

Our client is a leading construction specialist company with a strong presence in the commercial sector, operating offices in London, Manchester, and Chesterfield. They have a well-established Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) department that delivers high-quality solutions and services across a variety of commercial projects, ranging from office buildings to retail spaces.

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrically Biased Operations Manager to join the M&E department. This role requires a leader with a strong electrical background and extensive experience in managing operations within the construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical operations of the M&E department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role within the construction or M&E sector, with a strong electrical background.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial construction projects, particularly within the M&E field.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and project costs.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Full UK driving license
