We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee a large multi-tenant commercial property in East Manchester. This Grade II listed building requires a dedicated professional to act as the representative of the property developer, managing over 150 tenants. The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities from tenant liaison to facilities management and compliance with safety and building regulations.
Day-to-day of the role:- Act as the primary point of contact for over 150 tenants, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of tenant satisfaction.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the site, including the management of facilities and adherence to safety and building regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors for ongoing refurbishment and improvement works.
- Assist in managing the site’s operational budget, monitor expenditure, and manage contracts with service providers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proven experience in managing multi-tenanted commercial properties.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building management systems, remedial works, and compliance requirements.
- Good understanding of RICS guidelines; membership of RICS is preferred.
- Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and reporting.
- Familiarity with health and safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to manage contractors and oversee works effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, construction, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
