My client is currently looking for a Paraplanner in Manchester city centre.This isn't just a job; it's about joining a company that it's serious about its values. You will build up the capacity of the Financial Planning function, implement the AI solutions to make it more efficient and become the Centre of technical excellence.To be successful in this role you must have outstanding specialist knowledge of different products and areas of financial planning. You don't have to be chartered (L4 is essential!) as it is more about outcomes and ability to apply your knowledge to build capacity of our paraplanning function that matter. Responsibilities:

  • Work with a Client Manager/Adviser to ensure the correct client outcome is achieved
  • Produce compliant and detailed suitability reports for clients
  • Undertaking centralised product research and analysis to support the firm's product governance responsibilities, reporting to the relevant committees, and presenting where appropriate
  • Identifying new opportunities for the team including software and process improvements
  • Taking ownership of templates and technical client facing documents
  • Ensuring all client information is recorded on system and any tasks are completed within the appropriate timescale
  • Acting as a centre of technical excellence and share expertise with the wider team
  • Contacting product providers to clarify information and developing B2B relationships with key providers

To succeed in this role you will:

  • Achieved appropriate L4 qualifications
  • Good working knowledge in areas of investment, protection and pensions
  • Display enthusiasm, energy and positivity
  • Have an interest in ESG principles, frameworks, and regulations, particularly as they apply to the financial services industry
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Pride yourself on your organisational skills including managing multiple conflicting priorities
  • Be a superior user of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have working knowledge of iO
  • Collaborate well with other teams
