My client in the Stockport area require x 4 Semi Skilled Joiners / Furniture Assemblers.

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities
Assemble components and products using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.
Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of assembly processes.

Qualifications
Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
Basic understanding of tools and machinery used in assembly processes is advantageous.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
