Contract Role - Senior Office 365 Migration Programme Manager - Remote -03 Months Initial - Inside IR35

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead the successful planning and delivery of a complex, large-scale Office 365 migration programme. This involves consolidating two Office 365 tenants into one, covering all modalities and services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, and related compliance and security services. The programme will be delivered in an Agile environment, and requires someone with exceptional leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Precision, structure, and control are critical.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience delivering multiple complex Office 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations in global enterprise environments
  • Understanding of Microsoft 365 platform architecture and dependencies, including Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Intune, and Azure AD
  • Deep expertise in programme governance, project recovery, and post-mortem execution improvements
  • Exceptional planning, coordination, and prioritisation skills with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed and matrixed technical teams to successful delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with C-level stakeholders
  • Calm under pressure with a proactive mindset and hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Ability to manage high-pressure cutovers and provide strong direction during weekend and out-of-hours work
  • Experience in managing both internal and external resources, vendors, and third-party service providers
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate for hybrid programme delivery
  • Agile / Scrum / SAFe certification
  • Prince2 or PMP certification
  • ITIL Foundation or higher
  • Experience in delivering within heavily regulated sectors such as finance, legal, or healthcare
