We are recruiting for experienced multi drop van drivers to work on a temporary basis for our client based in Irlam, Manchester. Our client is an industry leader in clinical logistics, and you will be driving a custom vehicle to deliver parcels.
What your day to day looks like...
You will be based out of the Irlam Site; however, your run may cover anywhere in the Manchester area. Your start time can vary between 7am and 9am, Average day is 50 -65 drops, making sure the order is correctly signed in to the patient using the scanner.
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
Follow routes and time schedule.
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
About you...
> Must be a confident driver and happy to spend long periods of time behind the wheel. 12 months experience in a multidrop role is ESSENTIAL
> As there will be some face to face engagement with customers, a good level of customer service skills is needed with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
>As you are dealing with parcels , you must be willing to undertake a basic DBS check
> Must be over 21 years old for insurance on the vehicles
> No more than 6 points or drink /drug driving offences
