Van Delivery Driver

We are looking for 2x Van Delivery Drivers to take on full time permanent work for our client based in Trafford Park.

Successful Van Delivery Driver candidates will be required to carry out collections and deliveries of workwear laundry around the North West.

Two weeks training will be provided before Van Delivery Driver will be expected to go out and work alone.

Van Delivery Driver will be expected to carry out four or five days’ work per week (on average 30hrs per week) with a start time between 0500am and 0600am with a finish time between 1300 and 1500.

Pay will be £12 per hour after passing probationary period.

The Van Delivery Driver will need:

• Cat-B driving licence.
• Experience of multidrop delivery Van Driver.
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's).
• Excellent customer service skills and good literacy.
• Full UK Driving licence, held for 2-years.
• Able to work to tight deadlines.

 The duties of this Van Delivery Driver will include:

• Driving company vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws.
• Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.
• Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress.
• Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.
• Dealing with customers face to face in a polite and courteous manner.

Minimum rate of pay of £12.00 per hour (works out at £13.45 per hour inclusive of upfront holiday pay) paid weekly via PAYE. Occasional weekends may be required.
