People Advisor

We are seeking a People Advisor to join a leading charity, offering the flexibility to work remotely with necessary travel to sites across Greater Manchester and the North West region. This role is ideal for someone with a full UK driving license and their own vehicle, who is looking to provide comprehensive HR support in a varied generalist role.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide employee relations casework advice and guidance, including support with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes.
  • Offer sickness absence management guidance.
  • Assist with change management, including TUPE and support with the bid process.
  • Deliver HR-related training to managers.
  • Dealing with change management and redundancy consultations and restructures.
  • Support the undertaking of people projects aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Work closely with the People Business Partner to ensure operational leaders and managers receive proactive, professional, and business-focused HR support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar HR role or a proven track record of operational HR.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of UK employment law.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Solution-focused with the ability to foster strong and collaborative working relationships at all levels.
  • Must have a full UK driving license and own vehicle.
