Ad Hoc Class 2 Drivers Wanted

Job Type: Ad Hoc / Part Time / Temporary

Job Description: We are looking for flexible and reliable Class 2 Drivers to support our clients on an ad hoc basis based in Middleton and around Manchester. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. This role is perfect for drivers who enjoys flexibility in their work schedule and are available for shifts on short notice. Tell us when you can work and we will work around you! Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 2 vehicles for the delivery and collection of goods.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork and logbooks.
  • Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers as required.
  • Ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition and on time.
  • Adapt to different routes, loads, and schedules as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 driving license.
  • Minimum of 1 years of driving experience with no more than 6 points.
  • Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Strong knowledge of UK road networks and regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations on the road.
