We are currently looking a skilled and motivated Class 1 Driver to join our client in Manchester.
This role involves general haulage, tramping, and depot deliveries and collections.
Weekend work only
Key Responsibilities:* Safely operate Class 1 vehicles.* Perform tramping duties with overnight stays as required.* Conduct depot deliveries and collections, ensuring timely and efficient service.* Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or damage during transport.* Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.* Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members.* Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
Pay rates PAYE (inc. holiday pay):* £19.61/h Saturday* £21.85/h Sunday* £25 - overnight allowance for tramping dutiesRequirements:* Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license, CPC, Tacho card.* Experience in general haulage and tramping.* A clean driving record with no major endorsements.* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
