Ignition Driver Recruitment are actively seeking qualified HGV Class 1 Drivers in the Manchester area, to work forone of our many trusted client partners across the North West. We have an extensive network in the area, and you may be selected to work for any one of our valued clients as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
Before you apply for any of these roles, you must be able to answerYESto all the questions below:
- Do you have your Class 1 Driving Licence?
- Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card?
- Do you have an up-to-date DCPC Card?
Some of our clients will ask for experience, so a minimum of 12 months' experience would be preferable.
HGV Class 1 Driver - Role & Responsibilities:
- Driving a fully branded HGV vehicle
- Trunking & Collections
- Store Deliveries
- General Haulage
- Full MHE training is provided for jobs that require lifting
- You will be required to keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
- You are expected to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations
HGV Class 1 Drivers - Working Hours
- Variety of shifts & working patterns to choose from
- Days
- Nights (Nights out paid)
- Weekend only
- Monday to Friday only
- Full-time
- Part-time
- Regular, ongoing work, all year round
- Some clients pay a minimum of 8 hours per shift
