Our client is a leading provider of Lighting to the TV & Movie industry.
Our drivers move the lighting trucks to and from filming locations or film/TV sets.
The work is fairly unique within the agency driver world as it's that little bit more interesting. It's not multi drop, it's not pulling curtains back, it's not humping and dumping furniture into houses.
It's driving a truck to a film set, sometimes sitting about for a bit eating the food from the caterers on site and watching a movie being produced.
You don't touch the load, just drive.
A great degree of flexibility is expected for this client, as filming schedules can be a little unpredictable.
You must be willing to sometimes jump on a pre paid train or taxi, or travel in a hire car.
Overnights can be expected too, but you will be in a pre paid hotel, not sleeping in the cab.
The pay for this work is based on PAYE:
Monday to Friday: £14.00 per hour
Saturday: £16.00 per hour
Sunday: £18.00 per hour
Start times are from 0200hrs but are generally 0300hrs from the depot in Irlam, although can vary around the clock.
