Thursday - Monday: Start times from 4.00AM & 6.30AM

Pay Rate: £16.63 PER HOUR

Day to Day Duties

• Caged deliveries to pubs and restaurants
• Waste collections from restaurants (plastic, cardboard or food)
• Collections of empty cages
• Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
• Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed.

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK C Licence (CLASS 2)
• Have a minimum of 2years experience driving a C vehicles.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
• Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card.
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English.
• Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.

What training is provided?

• Driving assessment must be completed before starting. Full training will be provided for this role
