People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Little Hulton to join their team on Temp to Perm Basis. This is a fantastic role offering opportunity for new pass Class 2 Drivers.

Rates of Pay:
- Basic: £12.60 per hour
- Attendene and Safe driving Bonus
Day to Day Duties:
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
- Delivery and Collection of linens, uniforms (Cage Delivery and collection)
- Willingness to learn
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
- Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills:
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
- Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
- New Pass Class 2 drivers are welcome
- No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
- Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
- Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
- Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
- Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience:
- Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
- Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training:
- 2 weeks Industry related training provided by the client and ongoing support throughout
