Sonic Summary

People Solutions is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, offering a pay rate of £16.63 per hour.
The position requires a minimum of 6 months of experience driving Class 2 vehicles and holding a valid UK C Licence.
Drivers will be responsible for caged deliveries to pubs and restaurants, operating various Class 2 vehicles, and performing vehicle inspections.

Training is provided, and candidates must have a UK CPC Card, UK Digi Card, and a good command of English.

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not limited to:

Caged deliveries to pubs and restaurants
Collections of empty cages
Operate and drive various class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
Maintain accurate records of shipment, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management.
Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed.

Essential Skills

As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:

Hold a valid UK C Licence (CLASS 2)
Have a minimum of 6 months experience driving a C vehicles.
No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsement codes.
Have an in-date UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card.
Must be able to speak and read a good level of English.
Flexibility and availability to work overtime as and when required.

Desirable Experience

Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial.
