OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:

To manage pre & post contract operations on quoted contract work. to meet financial, quality and completion targets

Assist ensuring that they are completed safely, profitably and to the satisfaction of the client.

Assist in the pricing of jobs.

Assist on jobs Have a hands on approach to management and will to learn learn attitude.

SKILLS:

Strong person manager with an ability to lead by example; An ability to convey professional advise in a user friendly way;

Good communicator and diplomat at all level communicating with management.

Someone with a belief in doing a quality job and doing the job right first time.

Problem solver / overcoming problems in different building environments both domestic / commercial / entertainment industries. (Experience in refurbishment environment)

H&S knowledge within building industry.

Good IT skills.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:

Suitable Trade Qualification preferably from a joinery background with a minimum 3 years management experience and possibly other Construction Management qualification.
To be prepared to work towards a minimum CITB Site Managers 5 day Health & Safety Qualification and any other qualifications to enhance both the individual and company.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

Liaise with all relevant Local \ Statutory Authorities \ Clients \ Surveyors and the like, prior, during, and on the completion of the works when required.

Establish with the client and or clients representative a contract procedure for the giving and receiving information.

To monitor and update the contract programmes. / To effectively review and report promptly to the Directors all matters that may or will affect the financial and \ or the timely performance of any projects under your control.

Work closely with the office-based team.

Effectively communicate, delegate and monitor duties, priorities and deadlines.

Maintain and improve the Heath & Safety performance throughout the Company via the implementation of the Company H & SE objectives
(including H & S audit responsibilities).
